In line with the recommencement of outdoor sports (see .gov roadmap to ending lockdown) from the 4th April, West London Rangers have reopened the club – the rules below are applicable until the guidance next changes:
To ensure adequate social distancing on the ranges it is still necessary to adopt a first come, first served booking system to ensure your visit to the club can be accommodated. Please read carefully to avoid disappointment on the day.
- All non-members must contact us in advance to check if they can attend a shoot – please use only use the contact form or the West London Rangers Gmail account to do this – please do not use Whats App or Texts if you have committee member numbers.
- If you used to be a member, are a long standing visitor without membership, or a regular/ad hoc experienced shooter visitor please see point 1 – attendance without prior consent may, unfortunately, result in you not being granted access to the club upon arrival, which is something we want to avoid.
- New shooters and novices or those with limited experience may also attend, but this is limited to a maximum of two per meeting – so please contact us via our contact form and indicate your level of experience. Please DO NOT attend if you have not received confirmation of your acceptance for a particular day as we will unfortunately not be able to admit you to the grounds.
- Our club S400 and Gamo GX40 rifles are now available to hire again and the guns are quarantined for 2 weeks between shoots to ensure they are free of any contamination. They may only be hired to one shooter per Sunday.
Furthermore following the latest guidance from our governing body the NSRA we will continue with club activities as an organised and covid compliant team sport club – our covid risk assessment drives our rules, procedures and protocols (in addition to our normal safety risk assessment) and are briefed every session and compliance is monitored by the committee.
